Meg’s journey into massage therapy began with her own experience receiving bodywork, which transformed her relationship with her own body and sparked her interest in learning about bodies in general. This interest has only intensified over time, and her work as a therapist is defined not only by the application of her knowledge but also her ever present desire to learn more.
Meg came to Seattle to do undergraduate work in Linguistics and Philosophy, after which she spent years in the coffee and retail industries. She became increasingly drawn to the healing arts, and ultimately completed massage training at Mossmain College in Billings, MT. Since 2016 Meg has been practicing full time, avidly pursuing ways to cultivate her skills and better her practice.
In her work, Meg seeks to address her clients as whole beings, understanding that each person comes to a session with unique physical needs, as well as a narrative of their own relationship to their bodies. Her goal is to tailor each session to the individual, and her hope is that her clients leave her presence more empowered and equipped to thrive. A strong understanding of anatomy as her framework, Meg intuitively utilizes modalities that are most appropriate and therapeutic for each client. She encourages curiosity and participation from her clients, and in turn, commits herself to being a caring and knowledgeable resource for them in their healing process.
